The Philadelphia Inquirer said the two suspects of throwing chemicals at three Capitol Police officers who were arrested on Sunday are of Lebanese descent.
According to the newspaper, Julian Elie Khater (32 years) and George Pierre Tanios (39 years) grew up in New Brunswick in the state of New Jersey, and they are the children of Lebanese immigrants.

She stated that Khater holds a BA in Business Administration from Farley Dickinson University for the year 2011, and he is currently working in the restaurant and hospitality industry before moving to Pennsylvania in 2018.
As for Tanios, he moved to West Virginia several years ago and opened a chain of restaurants specializing in fatty foods such as chicken fingers, french fries and mozzarella sticks in the university city of New Jersey.

On Monday, the US Department of Justice announced that it had identified both Khater and Tanios and brought charges against them after someone identified them from the photos published by the FBI.
