Today, Tuesday, the authorities in the Kurdistan region of Iraq reopened Erbil International Airport after targeting it with missile strikes last night.
Erbil Airport Director Ahmed Hoshyar said in a press conference, “Three rockets landed last night near the fence of Erbil International Airport, and there were one dead and five wounded from companies working with international forces.”
He added, “We closed the airport from ten o’clock last night until 12 o’clock this morning to maintain the safety of passengers and airlines operating at the airport.”
