Running back Rico Dowdle will look to build on a strong performance as the Carolina Panthers prepare to face the New England Patriots in Week 4.
Dowdle is coming off his best game of the season, a 10-carry, 30-yard effort against the Falcons in which he scored his first touchdown. His availability for Sunday’s contest appears secure; despite being listed on the injury report for rest, he was a full participant in practice and currently carries no injury designation. The Panthers’ backfield situation is less certain regarding Chuba Hubbard, who is listed as questionable with a calf injury.
Through three games in the 2025 season, Dowdle has rushed 19 times for 51 yards and one touchdown. He has also been a factor in the passing attack, catching four passes for 22 yards.
The Panthers will host the Patriots on Sunday, September 28, with kickoff scheduled for 1:00 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast on FOX.
