Riquelme and Rubén Moreira are capable of anything to try to stop me: Mejía Berdeja

Ricardo Mejía Berdeja, during an interview with the journalist Juan Manuel Udave, accused that it is Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solis and Rubén Moreira who have launched a dirty war against him, against sympathizers of the nation project in Coahuila seeking to cloud the growth of the change movement in the entity.

Regarding Morena’s internal process, Mejía Berdeja was blunt in saying that “unity is with President López Obrador and unity is with change” and added that whoever is not on that channel is against the nation’s project and serve other interests.

“I am very clear about where the dispute over Coahuila is” and there are interests in destroying the enormous will for change in the State, said Ricardo Mejía. The vast majority of people from civil society as well as organized unions are part of this movement for change and it is precisely they who show great interest in helping to resolve issues of great priority to society such as drug dealing and addictions in the neighborhoods of the capital, for example.

Finally, Ricardo Mejía said he was ready, whenever the law allows it, to actively participate in leading the defense of the Fourth Transformation in the entity. “We are not going to bend, we are not going to crack,” he concluded.
