The journalist from The Athletic Shams Charania has reported that Denver Nuggets players Austin Rivers and Bones Hyland will miss multiple games after entering NBA health and safety protocols.
This news further darkens the worrying future outlook for the Colorado franchise. Jamal Murray’s absence since last April due to a serious knee injury has recently been joined by the back surgery to which Michael Porter Jr. has had to undergo, a condition that will keep him, according to initial forecasts, out of game during the rest of the course.
Despite this downpour in the form of injuries, physical problems and sanitary protocols, the Nuggets have managed to complete the first month and a half of regular season with a neutral record of ten wins and ten losses. Even so, the label of alternative potential to conquer the scepter of the West has been gradually lost.
Rivers and Hyland were securing more than 15 combined points in the last five games that, now, Michael Malone will have to squeeze from another side.
