Rocha delivers five new paved streets for Culiacán

• Just in its first year, with 74 streets built, it has already doubled what was done in the last three years of the previous administration, when 35 roads were built.

Aguaruto, Culiacán, Sinaloa, December 27, 2022.- Governor Rubén Rocha Moya visited the Aguaruto union, to simultaneously inaugurate from this place five new streets that were built in different popular neighborhoods of the municipality of Culiacán, which represented an investment close to 22 million pesos.

It should be noted that with these five new roads, a total of 74 streets have already been built between the State Government and the Culiacán City Council, an amount that doubles what was done during the last three years of the previous state and municipal administration, when 35 roads were paved. , explained for his part the Secretary of Public Works, José Luis Zavala Cabanillas.

During his message to the beneficiaries of the Aguaruto union, Governor Rocha stressed that the hallmark of his government, emanating from the Fourth Transformation, is to carry out work of high social sense, such as satisfying the basic needs of the population, not the great pharaonic works of hundreds of millions of pesos in cost, but the actions that seek to provide the services that the inhabitants lack, such as drinking water, drainage, electrification, road repair, construction of neighborhood roads and, of course, street paving in popular colonies, as in this case, so that the settlers no longer live among the dust and mud that is generated in the rainy season.

“Our priorities are that, that is why our work is with a social sense: water, electricity; Here they told me about a neighborhood that does not have lighting, I already gave instructions to José Luis to put them on. The drainage, the roads, the streets, which are with hydraulic paving, and how much did they charge you? Nothing, we do not charge for the works, you do not owe anything for the street, ”he specified.

For his part, the municipal president of Culiacán, Juan de Dios Gámez Mendívil, thanked Governor Rocha for the construction of this package of five new streets, which come to meet long-standing demands of its beneficiaries, who for years have requested the paving of their streets. respective streets.
