Rocha makes his personal contribution to the Telethon

• Governor Rocha donated more than 118,000 pesos of his own resources to this noble cause.

Mazatlán, Sinaloa, December 17, 2022.- Accompanied by his entire family, his daughter and sons, daughters-in-law, granddaughters, and grandsons, Governor Rubén Rocha Moya made his personal contribution to Teletón México 2022, consisting of a donation of 118,000 278 pesos of his own money, and in addition, he symbolically delivered the contribution of the workers of the Government of the State of Sinaloa, a sum that reached 3 million 020 thousand 003 pesos and 32 cents.

The president went to the Citi Banamex branch located in Juan Carrasco, in Mazatlán, where he was received by the Northwest Divisional director of this financial group, Roberto Baltazares Rocha, to immediately go to one of the branch windows and make his personal donation. , composed as announced, for the total of his Christmas bonus, plus the two fortnights of December.

Moments before entering the branch, the state president shared a few words in a link at the national level with the television hosts, Melina Dionyssiou and Fer Sagreeb, who enthusiastically thanked their personal contribution and that of all Sinaloans in general.

It should be noted that Governor Rocha commented that he had been returning at that time from the Marías Islands, where he accompanied the President of the Republic, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, this Friday for the inauguration of the tourist center “Muros de Agua, José Revueltas”, as it was named the tourist complex that once housed the legendary penitentiary center.

“This represents so much that I have just come from the Marías Islands at this moment, thank the Teletón Foundation that has decided that a Center can be here with both functions, care for children with disabilities and also care for children with autism,” he thanked.

Governor Rocha also thanked the solidarity of Mazatlan businessmen, with whom he met this week and who selflessly made generous donations of up to 10 million pesos.

It should be noted that if the goal of 353 million pesos set by the Teletón Foundation for this year is achieved, this Teletón Center can be built with the two specialties mentioned by the state governor, for which there are already a central piece of land, located next to the facilities of the Municipal Public Security Secretariat.

Also accompanying Governor Rocha, in addition to his children Eneyda, president of the Sinaloa DIF System and her children Rubén, Ricardo and José Jesús, along with their respective families, were the Secretary General of the Government, Enrique Inzunza Cázarez; his private secretary, Alejandro Higuera Osuna; and the municipal president of Mazatlán, Edgar Augusto González Zataráin, together with his wife.
