“The Daily Telegraph” newspaper revealed that Juventus star, Portuguese international Cristiano Ronaldo, refused a tempting offer to promote a tourism company in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The British newspaper reported that Ronaldo received an offer of 6 million euros from a Saudi tourism company to promote its campaign in the country, but the Portuguese star refused this offer.
According to the source, the agreement on the promotional campaign would have required Ronaldo to travel frequently to Saudi Arabia and use his image in all promotional advertisements.
The newspaper indicated that representatives of the Saudi company also contacted Barcelona striker Lionel Messi, but the answer of the Argentine is still unknown.
It should be noted that Ronaldo, who last Wednesday became the best goalscorer in football history, earns 31 million euros a year from his Juventus team, and he also gets huge money from ads.
