Juventus beat Roma with two goals without a response, in the match that took place between them on Saturday evening, at the top of the 21st round of the Italian Football League.
Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo scored the lead “for the Bianconeri” against the “Wolves” early, in the 13th minute of the first half, with a creepy and well-done shot from outside the penalty area in the right corner.
While the second goal came with a “friendly fire” scored by the Brazilian defender, Roger Ibanez da Silva, with an own goal, by the 70th minute of the match, which was held at the “Allianz Stadium” in Turin.
And Ronaldo strengthened his top scorer in the Italian league with 16 goals, and his team has a postponed match against Napoli, two goals ahead of his Belgian runner-up, Romelu Lukaku, the Inter Milan striker.
Juventus raised its score after this victory to 42 points and had a postponed match against Napoli, and advanced to third place in the “Calcio” table, reducing the difference to five points, between it and leaders Milan, who hosts the Crotone team, on Sunday.
On the other hand, Roma stopped at 40 points, and dropped to fourth place on the league table, pending the rest of the matches of this round.
