In the absence of firm offers from the NBA, free agent Rondae Hollis-Jefferson will become a new player for Turkish Besiktas, as reported by the journalist from BasketNews Donatas Urbonas.
Hollis-Jefferson, selected 23rd in the 2015 draft by the Portland Trail Blazers and immediately sent to Brooklyn, followed an upward trend during his first three seasons with the Nets thanks largely to his athleticism and defensive versatility.
However, the absence of a reliable shot was reducing his relevance until he played a testimonial role during the past year, in which he played in the Blazers. Their averages throughout the 2020-21 season rose to 2.5 points and 2.4 rebounds in just eleven games.
Now, the 26-year-old forward will try to take off his career in European basketball with a view to receiving a future opportunity in the NBA.
