Heart-stopping video has been taken showing rope access technicians dangling hundreds of meters in the air from a Melbourne skyrise, only to realise the glass window they’re installing doesn’t fit.

A GoPro captured footage of two workers hanging from the building by ropes while laying down the panels.

‘When you are installing glass panels and and the ground guys don’t check the size of the panel they give you. This is why I have trust issues,’ the TikTok video was captioned.

The man suspended slightly lower than the worker taking the video could be heard yelling that the panel was too big.

‘It’s miles off. It’s like 300 [mm] off,’ he said in frustration.

‘This panel’s too big then,’ his coworker responded.

‘F**k sake! The panel’s too big, no bulls**t.’

The video has been viewed more than 106,00 times, with hundreds of TikTok users commenting that they felt anxious just watching the hair-raising footage.

‘This makes my anxiety go way up,’ one person commented.

‘My palms are sweaty,’ wrote another.
