At a precise time, the Iranian parliament votes unanimously to reject President Hassan Rouhani’s agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency, and the Parliament’s Security Committee threatens to prosecute Rouhani if the agreement is not shattered.
Iranian Leader Ali Khamenei declared his support for the parliament’s decision and stressed the need to resolve the dispute between the two parties, “so that no two voices are heard in Iran.”
While the Iranian Foreign Ministry confirmed that Tehran is continuing to suspend the additional protocol.
