Russia plans to launch this year two satellites of the new generation “GLONASS-Ka2”, which is one of the latest and most accurate models of astronautics satellites.

The authors of the article pointed out that the modern Russian satellites of the new generation of the Russian “GLONASS” system will guarantee an accuracy of less than 30 cm for navigation.
The Director General of the Russian “Information Satellite Systems” company, Nikolai Testoyedov, had previously stated in an interview with the Russian “TASS” agency that the launch of the Russian satellite navigation satellite “GLONASS-Ka2” was postponed from 2020 to 2021. .
He said that some space devices need to be modified. This was evident during its 2020 ground test.
Stoyedov also indicated that his company intends to sign in 2021 with the “Ross Cosmos” space organization an agreement to produce satellite navigation for space navigation for the new generation in batches.
