The ministry indicated that a group of “Urus” cars had been manufactured and now the cars are undergoing testing. The ministry stated that the serial production of “Urus” will start in the first quarter of 2021, with cars to be delivered to customers next May.
Urus is one of the early stages of the “Cortij” (procession) project to design and produce a family of luxury cars that include “limousines”, “sedans” and “minivans” for senior officials in Russia, led by Russian President Vladimir Putin, and they will be sold in the Russian and international markets.
