The three countries also agreed that achieving long-term security and stability in northeastern Syria can only be done on the basis of preserving the state’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Russia, Turkey and Iran declared their rejection of all “attempts to create new facts” on the ground, including illegal initiatives on autonomy under the pretext of combating terrorism, expressing their determination to confront separatist plans in the region beyond the Euphrates that aim to undermine the unity of Syria and threaten the national security of neighboring countries. In this regard, it expressed its concern about the revitalization of military actions against the civilian population.
