The Government of the Russian Federation ordered to establish a commercial office in Mexico, after the Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed an order.
According to a Facebook post from the Russian Embassy in Mexico, the office will aim to develop bilateral cooperation, as well as help Russian exporters enter the Mexican market.
Both countries have the potential to cooperate in fields such as machinery construction, metallurgy, energy sector, mineral extraction, construction and infrastructure modernization.
The turnover between both countries reached 4,800 million dollars in 2021. Of this sum, Russian exports constituted 3,400 million dollars. Among the main products that Mexico exports from Russia, urea and aluminum alloys stand out.
