Monaco scored a precious 4-3 victory over its host Nimes Olympique, in the match that brought them together yesterday, Sunday, in the 24th round of the French Football League “Ligue 1”.
The Russian international, Alexander Golovin, the star of Monaco, scored three goals (hat-trick) in minutes 3, 12 and 62, and made the fourth goal for his team when he gifted a ball on a plate to his German colleague Kevin Volland, who housed it in the net at the 78th minute of the match.
On the other hand, Lucas Du, Algerian Zinedine Farhat and Swedish Niklas Elason scored the home team’s hat-trick in minutes 23, 32 and 81, respectively.
With this victory, Monaco raised its score to 48 points and rose to fourth place, while Nimes’ balance stopped at 15 points in the 20th and last place on the table of the French League teams.
