The S-400 missile defense system and Buk missile defense system fired missiles at the Telimba training field in the Russian Republic of Buryatia.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, “Saman” and “Armavir” missiles, which were simulating the enemy’s air targets, were fired at long and close distances and at high altitudes.
In addition, the air defense units trained in firing from the “Tor” and “Strela-10” systems, and the “Igla” or “Ferba” MANPADS.
About 2,000 military personnel and more than 500 pieces of equipment participated in the exercises.
