Egyptian Mohamed Salah, the star of Liverpool, scored several distinguished numbers by scoring two goals against Manchester United, during the meeting that brought them together on Sunday, in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
The Opta network, which specializes in records and statistics, revealed that Mohamed Salah became the first Liverpool player to score twice at Old Trafford, the stronghold of Manchester United, since the legend Steven Gerrard in 2014.
The Egyptian “Pharaoh” also raised his score to 19 goals for Liverpool in all tournaments this season (2020-2021), equal to Harry Kane, the star of Tottenham Hotspur, more than any other player in the English Premier League.
