Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and Kuwaiti Oil Minister Mohammed Abdul Latif Al-Faris met on Wednesday to discuss ways to enhance cooperation in the fields of renewable energy.
More than a year ago, the two countries signed an agreement attached to the two agreements to divide the divided zone and the submerged area adjacent to the divided zone between the two countries, and a memorandum of understanding to resume oil production on both sides.
The Saudi Press Agency said in a statement that the two ministers discussed “the next steps aimed at consolidating the successes achieved in implementing the agreement and the memorandum, and moving them forward towards achieving more of what is in the interest of the two countries and their peoples.”
The two ministers also talked during the meeting about the oil market conditions and discussed joint cooperation between the two countries to support the stability of the market and maintain it and their active role within the OPEC Plus agreement, which led to an acceleration of the pace of rebalancing the global oil market, according to what the Saudi Press Agency reported.
