The official Saudi “SPA” agency reported that the country’s authorities decided to extend the ban on flights, land and sea to the Kingdom for another week.
The agency quoted an official source in the Ministry of Interior as saying: “In addition to the statement issued on December 20, regarding the spread of a new mutated type of Corona virus, in a number of countries, and the precautionary measures decided in this regard, such as suspending international flights for travelers, temporarily for a period of time. One week, which can be extended for another week, and suspension of entry into the Kingdom through the land and sea ports. The Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia decided to extend the work of the aforementioned procedures for another week, with emphasis on excluding the movement of goods, commodities and supply chains, as well as allowing non-Saudis to leave the kingdom’s lands. Via flights, according to the precautionary measures decided by the Ministry of Health.
