Today, Tuesday, the Saudi Ministry of Health announced that it had recorded 410 new infections with the Coronavirus, with 5 deaths due to the disease, amid a continuous rise in active and critical cases.
The Ministry stated that the general toll of confirmed cases of the emerging coronavirus that causes “Covid-19” disease in the country has increased during the past 24 hours by 410, bringing the total toll to the level of 385834 infections.
The index of daily infections with the Coronavirus in Saudi Arabia stabilized at a level much lower than the numbers in the summer of 2020, when the daily toll reached more than 4 thousand cases, and this number reached 381 on March 18, 391 on March 19, 382 on March 20, 367 on March 21, and 404 On March 22nd.

However, Saudi Arabia is facing a gradual increase in the number of active cases, which increased from 4,012 on Monday to 4,051 Tuesday, while the number of critical injuries reached 617, after it was yesterday at the level of 595.
The Ministry of Health reported that there were 5 new deaths due to the disease, compared to 6 cases on March 18, 5 on March 19, 6 on March 20, 7 on March 21 and 4 on March 22, adding that the death toll from the pandemic in Saudi Arabia rose to 6,618 deaths.
The Ministry also stated that the number of people recovering from “Covid-19” in the Kingdom reached 375,165 people, after 366 new cures were recorded.
On December 17, Saudi Arabia launched a mass vaccination campaign for the Kingdom’s population against Coronavirus infection, with a vaccine developed by the American “Pfizer” and the German “Biontech” company, to later adopt the vaccine for the British-Swedish company, “AstraZeneca”.
