Saudi Arabia confirmed that it would respond firmly to the repeated attacks by the “Ansar Allah” Houthi group and their acts that undermine peace and security in Yemen.
She pledged during a meeting of the Saudi Council of Ministers headed by King Salman bin Abdulaziz, that it would take all necessary measures to preserve its lands and the safety of its citizens and residents, in accordance with its obligations under international laws.
The Council stressed, “the contents of the message sent by the permanent Saudi delegation to the United Nations to the Security Council, and the call to condemn the cowardly terrorist attack by the Houthis that targeted Abha International Airport.”
The Council called on the international community to act to “stop the threats of the Houthis to international peace and security, and hold them accountable.”
It is noteworthy that the Houthi “Ansar Allah” group targeted Abha International Airport in Saudi Arabia and the King Abdullah Military Base with a number of booby-trapped drones, while the leadership of the Arab Coalition announced that they had attacked and destroyed these aircraft.
