The Egyptian national team plays a fateful match against its Slovenian counterpart, today, Sunday, in the Group Four competitions for the main role of the World Handball Championship, currently being held in Egypt.
Sweden is at the top of Group D, with 6 points, ahead of its Egyptian counterpart, who has the balance.
Russia comes in third place, with 5 points, for its advantage in direct confrontation over Slovenia, fourth place with five points.
While Belarus (Belarus) and Macedonia were completely eliminated from the competition for the quarter-finals cards, the first ranks fifth, with two points, while the second ranks bottom without a score.
In the event that Egypt defeats Slovenia, the “Pharaohs” team will raise its score to 8 points, and will formally qualify for the quarter-finals, regardless of the outcome of the Sweden-Russia meeting.
