Two men have been rushed to hospital with significant burns after a gas explosion at a home on Sydney’s northern beaches.
NSW Ambulance were called to the property on Battle Boulevard in Seaforth following reports of an explosion at about 1.45pm on Wednesday afternoon.
A NSW Ambulance spokesman said the two men, aged in their 20s, suffered significant burns to the face, abdomen, arms and legs.
The pair have been taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious condition.
Fire and Rescue NSW said they were on the scene.
‘FRNSW is attending a home in Battle Boulevard following a gas explosion that has injured two people,’ they said on Twitter.
