In the Canary Islands, a villa has been found, possibly as a secret dispensary, to change the look of Adolf Hitler after Germany’s defeat in World War II, The Sun reported.
The newspaper reported that the authors of the Secret Nazi Bases program visited Villa Casa Winter, which is located on a cliff in the southern suburbs of Fuerteventura.
Inside the building, a ceramic-paved hall reminiscent of the operating room was found, as well as a cremation room, in addition to a tunnel.
Researchers believe that Hitler, feigning suicide, was transferred to the Canary Islands at the end of April 1945.
They claim that Hitler arrived at the villa with his secretary, Martin Bormann, and the doctor, Joseph Mengele. A group of surgeons changed their external appearance, then left for Brazil and Argentina to escape justice.
The property was built by German engineer Gustav Winter, and was rumored to have been funded by the Nazis.
Presently, the villa is owned by Mr. Pedro Fumero. According to him, his relatives participated in the construction of the villa. He believes that the building was linked to military operations, citing accounts from relatives about the arrival of two German soldiers during the construction of the villa. The current owner asserts that this house “hides many secrets” and was not intended for entertainment.
