The Milwaukee Bucks have announced in a press release that Semi Ojeleye will be out for at least three weeks due to a right leg strain.
The power forward had already missed the first games of the season due to a similar injury but to his left leg. Now, the medical team has established this initial timeline before being reassessed.
Ojeleye, who turns 27 in December, has been very inconsistent in shooting his first eleven games with the Bucks jersey. He currently exhibits a 25.5% accuracy in field goals, including 21.4% in triples, for a total of 3.0 points per game. To these he adds 3.6 captures in 19.8 minutes.
Thus, the player will miss at least the next eleven games for Wisconsin. During his absence, Thanasis Antetokounmpo and Jordan Nwora could see their minutes on the court increased. In addition, the Bucks are still awaiting the return of Brook Lopez, who is still recovering from a back injury. It is expected that the center reappear in early December.
