Senators summon the president of the CNDH, Rosario Piedra, to appear on December 7

The Senate of the Republic approved to summon to appear before the plenary chamber, next Wednesday, December 7, to Rosario Piedra Ibarrapresident of the National Human Rights Commission (CNDH).

The agreement of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Senators, voted by show of hands, establishes that the appearing party will have an initial intervention of up to 20 minutes.

Subsequently, according to the agreed format, there will be two rounds of questions from senators from each of the eight parliamentary groups represented in the Senate and the self-styled plural group made up of legislators without a political party. ibarra stone will answer all the questions formulated in only two interventions.

It should be remembered that on November 8, the Ombudsman sent a written communication addressed to the president of the Senate Board of Directors to inform him that his November agenda was full, for which reason he requested to postpone his appearance until next December.
