The ‘Urban Eats’ roti paratha has become very popular with Aldi customers, many taking to Facebook to show off the delicious snacks they have made with the staple.
One woman showed off her favourite quick-fix, taking the bread, some garlic dip, mild salsa and tasty cheese.

The pictures the mum shared got a huge response online – with others admitting they too can’t get enough of the flaky flatbread.
‘I love these roti, but never thought to burrito them like this,’ one mum said.
‘These are out of this world. I had to stop buying them because I put on too much weight,’ one woman said.Â
The post elicited fond memories for some.
‘I grew up on parathas, besides curry my papa used to give me sugar paratha. Literally raw sugar wrapped in paratha,’ one woman said.Â

‘My mum makes these with bacon and homemade caramel sauce,’ another said.Â

‘I will stock up on stuff, the new roster is up tomorrow, we will work something in,’ said one woman when her friend asked to eat them with her.Â
