The Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT) published on Friday the tender to choose the company that offers the services of freeing the right of way required in the expansion of Line 1 of the Suburban Train Lechería-Felipe Angeles International Airport (AIFA).
The process is under the modality of invitation to at least three people, although their names or the details of the extension of the rights to release were not disclosed.
The estimated date for the start of the works is March 1, 2022, with a term for the execution of the works of 89 calendar days.
To take charge of the competition, the dependency assigned the General Directorate of Railway and Multimodal Development, who made it clear in the information made public that the stages of the tender (clarification meeting, delivery of proposals and decision) will be carried out in person and behind closed doors.
In the experience section of the bidders, it is specified that they must show documentation that guarantees that they have signed contracts for similar work for an amount of at least 8.6 million pesos with government agencies and entities or with individuals.
In addition, the project coordinator helping to clear the rights of way must have a minimum of five years’ experience.

The bidders in the access tender
Regarding the tender, also under the invitation modality, to carry out the technical and topographical works for the release of the right of way of the properties in the Tonanitla accesses, San Jerónimo junction and military zone, the SICT received four technical and economic proposals.
Corporate Osorio and Engineering made an offer for 7.3 million pesos, Élan Consultants and Services for 7.8 million pesos, Ecosphere Consultancy Development and Environmental Supervision for 7.9 million pesos and Technical Buildings for 9.4 million pesos.
The decision of the contest will be announced next Friday, January 28 and will be notified in the system BuyNet, due to the fact that the electronic modality was used in the face of the advance of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The works are expected to begin (without an assigned advance payment) on February 1st and conclude 90 calendar days later.
