Simone Holtznagel reveals her ‘life-changing’ hard boiled egg hack to peel the shell off in one go 

Her fans are used to seeing her on the catwalk or looking glamorous on the red carpet. 

But Simone Holtznagel, 29, is also a whizz in the kitchen. 

On Wednesday evening, the model filmed her ‘life-changing’ hard boiled egg cooking hack.

She explained that pouring a dose of bicarbonate soda into a saucepan with water allowed the egg’s exterior to be in a softer state. 

‘It does something to the membrane of the egg, once they’re done, you can tap them, you can get (the shell off) in one piece,’ she said. 

She later demonstrated how easily she could peel the shell off the egg.

Simone has recently undergone a body transformation and dropped 10kg with the help of her personal trainer boyfriend, Jono Castano.

Jono denied any suggestion her weight loss was too drastic, telling Daily Mail Australia: ‘The way she got results wasn’t through starving herself; it was done through a structured program.’

Simone would eat four meals per day and her diet was ‘very well-balanced, incorporating all her macro nutrients in every meal,’ he explained.

‘It does something to the membrane of the egg, once they’re done, you can tap them, you can get (the shell off) in one piece,’ she said 

The socialite copped backlash after unveiling her body transformation, but said at the time she had been ignoring her critics.

‘People have commented saying it’s “triggering”, and “before and after” don’t belong in 2022…’ she told The Daily Telegraph.

‘I thought what we weren’t doing in 2022 was commenting on other people’s bodies,’ she added.

Jono and Simone first met several years ago when she was one of the trainer’s highest profile clients.

They initially kept their romance under wraps before going public in May when they were seen kissing at Mimi’s restaurant in Coogee.
