Attendees at the Zac Brown Band’s intimate Los Angeles show on July 21 received a hip-hop surprise when Snoop Dogg joined the group on stage. The rap legend appeared at Hollywood’s Desert 5 Spot lounge, smoking a blunt while he and the band performed their new collaborative track, “Let It Run,” accompanied by dancers in cowboy hats.
The live duet was also being filmed for the song’s official music video. The track was released on July 18 and is part of the group’s upcoming album, “Love & Fear,” set to be released on December 5.
To celebrate the new record, the band has announced a brief residency at the Las Vegas Sphere. Zac Brown described the immersive show as his “masterpiece so far” in an Instagram post.
“This show is the story of my life that I have never shared, a journey through my imagination, music and stories that have defined who I am,” Brown wrote. “It will be a unique experience where you can really feel every note, every word, right there with us.”
General admission tickets for the four Sphere dates go on sale July 25 at 10 a.m. PT. A presale for the band’s premium fan club members opened on July 21.
