“Some residents can now relocate apartments on the upper floors,” spokeswoman Ines Bebea said. “The process is ongoing and evolving.”
The agency was unable to provide a timeline for when or how many people will re-enter the building, as building management is notifying residents on an individual basis and “is not rushing people back to their apartments,” Bebea said. .
Records from the New York City Department of Buildings show the building is listed with a partial vacate order on Tuesday after a structural stability inspection was conducted Monday.
