The Jordanian national team tied with the South Korean national team 2-2 – today, Saturday – in the second round of the fifth group competitions of the Asian Football Cup, currently being held in Qatar.
The South Korean team was the first to score through Heung-Min Son in the 9th minute from a penalty kick, but the Jordanian team equalized the result through friendly fire, after Park Young-woo, the Korean player, scored an accidental goal against his team in the 35th minute.
In the sixth minute of stoppage time in the first half, Yazan Al-Naimat scored the second goal for the Jordanian team.
In the second half, the South Korean team tried to score the equalizer until it was able to score it in the first minute of stoppage time of the match through Yazan Al-Arab, the Jordanian team player, who scored it by mistake into his own net.
The Jordanian team raised its score to 4 points at the top of the standings, on goal difference against the South Korean team, which raised its score to 4 points.
The Jordanian team defeated the Malaysian team 4-0 in the first round, while the South Korean team defeated the Bahraini team 3-1 in the first round.
