Spanish media reported that one of those infected with the Coronavirus set a fire in Puerta del Mar Hospital in the southern city of Cadiz, noting that no one was injured in the accident.
The newspaper “Diario de Cadiz” reported that the fire broke out on the sixth floor of the hospital.
A source at the hospital told the newspaper that the fire was started by a patient infected with Coronavirus, who was said to have set fire to his bed.
According to the pictures taken from the scene and circulated on social media, the fire swept through at least two hospital wards.
The newspaper indicated that the suspect was arrested by law enforcement officers.
Reports indicated that firefighters who responded to the accident climbed the hospital fire exit to the sixth floor in order to extinguish the fire.
