The Spanish Coast Guard announced the rescue of 107 migrants this weekend, off the coast of the Canary Islands.
The Coast Guard spokesman said that yesterday, Saturday, a boat carrying 15 immigrants was found off the island of Tenerife, and another carrying 41 migrants was found near the island of Gran Canaria.
He added that 51 additional migrants (49 men and two women) were taken care of today, Sunday, after they were rescued off the coast of Gran Canaria.
