The San Antonio Spurs have announced the firing of player Chandler Hutchison, who came from the Washington Wizards in the mega-trade that ended with Russell Westbrook in the Los Angeles Lakers, the outlet reported. The Athletic.
Hutchison, 25, has barely been able to play 97 official games spread over four seasons because of injuries. Last year he wore the colors of the Chicago Bulls and Wizards, and with the capital, he averaged 5.2 points in 15.7 minutes on the floor.
With his departure, the Texans still have 17 guaranteed chips, so they will still have to announce two additional losses before starting the next preseason.
