The iconic Portuguese boss made a flurry of attacking switches at the interval with Giovani Lo Celso, Dele Alli, Steven Bergwijn and Carlos Vinicius all being replaced as the north Londoners went in 1-0 down thanks to Lior Refaelov’s first-half strike.
Son Heung-Min, Lucas Moura, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Erik Lamela were all brought on for Spurs but the changes did not work as Tottenham went down 1-0 against the Belgian leaders come full-time.

Meanwhile, another stunned supporter claimed: ‘Mourinho made 4 subs he’s rattled’.
Several social media user targeted midfielder Alli for criticism of his first-half performance in his first Tottenham start in several weeks.
The England international had been exiled by Mourinho from the Spurs matchday squad and did not even travel for the north London side’s win at Burnley on Monday night.
But Alli did manage to earn a rare Tottenham start but some fans are questioning whether he has a future under Mourinho after the Portuguese manager hauled him off at half-time.

Spurs’ defeat at Antwerp was their first loss in this season’s Europa League campaign and their first in all competition in 11 matches.
