The San Antonio Spurs have closed the hiring of free agent Jaylen Morris. As the journalist Keith Smith has shared, it is an agreement Exhibit 10 in order to be part of the team during the preseason.
Morris, 26, has accumulated varied experience in the NBA, the Development League and Europe after not being selected in the 2017 draft. In the NBA, he has played ten games between Atlanta and Milwaukee, while his averages in the G-League ascend to 13.6 points and 4.9 rebounds in a total of 78 games.
You recently completed the Summer League Las Vegas with Spurs themselves, compiling numbers of 13.2 points and 3.0 rebounds in five games.
However, there doesn’t seem to be a place in Texas for him. In San Antonio they already have 17 guaranteed contracts and it is very possible that the Austin Spurs of the G-League will be their team during the 2021-22 season.
