
The final communiqué of the Libyan parties’ meetings in Bouznika, Morocco, today, Saturday, stated that it has been agreed to form working groups to take steps regarding sovereign positions.
The statement indicated that the parties agreed to “support efforts at the forum for political dialogue to form an executive authority for the preliminary stage in Libya.”
The closing statement of the Libyan talks emphasized “taking into account geographical balance in appointments as well as efficiency.”
Earlier in the day, Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita confirmed that there is “an evolution in the Libyan political dialogue at several levels, all of which are optimistic elements.”
