Steph Curry ‘set to be sidelined for MULTIPLE weeks with left leg injury and will miss the All-Star Game’ after limping to the locker room during Warriors’ win over Dallas Mavericks
Steph Curry will miss multiple weeks with a left leg injury, and will be forced to sit out All-Star Weekend too, according to reports.
The Golden State Warriors guard left the game against the Mavericks Saturday night, and underwent an MRI scan on Sunday to determine the full extent of the injury.
While an exact diagnosis is yet to be determined, the Athletic’s Shams Charania is reporting that Curry will be out for weeks rather than days after hobbling off.
The 34-year-old was guarding Dallas’ McKinley Wright IV when the pair bumped knees and Curry came away from the play limping.
He went back to the locker room after being evaluated by Warriors trainer Rick Celebrini, and an initial X-ray on the ‘left lower leg’ injury was negative.

Now, though, Curry is expected to be out through the All-Star Game, in which he was set to be among the stars in Salt Lake City.
Potential injury replacements for the Warriors star are Phoenix Suns’ Devin Booker, Minnesota Timberwolves’ Anthony Edwards and Sacramento Kings’ De’Aaron Fox.
It is not the first injury that has hampered Curry’s season, after he previously sat out 11 games with a left shoulder subluxation.
On Saturday, Curry had a game-high 21 points on 7-of-11 shooting when he left the game, and the Warriors held on to win 119-113.
