Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson was back in the house that he built, but doing something he is far less artful at.
Known as a smooth mover – in some capacities at least – danced the night away at a Lionel Richie concert at the Kia Forum Friday night.
Johnson showed off his moves in the same arena where he won five NBA titles between 1980-1988.
He was joined by his wife Cookie as the pair watched their good friend perform as part of his Sing A Song All Night Long tour.
As if there wasn’t enough star power in Inglewood, CA., musician Stevie Wonder was sat behind Magic. One could argue the Part-Time Lover singer had the best seat in the house.

Johnson’s attendance was acknowledged by the official social media account of the Forum, posting a photo alongside fellow celebrity, Paula Abdul.
The 64-year-old was seen swaying to the music, occasionally doing a little clap the the beat.
At one point, he began clicking his fingers from side to side and he did a little wiggle, clearly enjoying himself.
And, Johnson had reason to be in a good mood after the Washington Commanders’ bright start to the NFL season.
Johnson has enjoyed a busy week after attending the Commanders’ win vs. Arizona in Week 1
The NBA icon is part of the Josh Harris-led ownership group which bought the team in July
Earlier this week, Johnson was in Virginia to watch his Washington Commanders beat the Arizona Cardinals in its NFL opener.
Johnson has a stake in the NFC East franchise which finally parted from Dan Snyder’s ownership earlier this year.
The $6.05 billion sale of the Washington Commanders to the Josh Harris-led consortium, of which Johnson is a member, was approved by the rest of the NFL owners – Snyder aside – in July.
Next up for the undefeated Commanders is a trip to face the 0-1 Denver Broncos at Mile High.
