(WALA) – After an active night of severe weather across the Gulf Coast Saturday, our Sunday will be much calmer. We’ll enjoy a stretch of sunny days with mild temperatures through the end of the year, before cold weather arrives after New Year’s.
Saturday night brought intense weather to the Gulf Coast, with multiple radar-confirmed tornadoes in our area. If you have storm damage photos to share, please send them to FOX10 News through our website or Weather app.
For Sunday, expect mainly sunny skies with afternoon temperatures reaching around 70°. It will be a quiet day with light northwesterly winds around 5 mph.
Looking ahead, sunny skies and mild temperatures will continue through Tuesday. On New Year’s Day, a cold front will usher in cooler air overnight Tuesday, and these cooler conditions will persist through the rest of the week.
