The student, Ismail Refaat, in the final year of one of the private institutes specialized in the field of engineering, in Minya Governorate, spoke about Robert their graduation project, where he said: “We are 10 students in the final year at the institute. On a specific design through which he can perform his tasks, we called it “Mecha Robot”.

He continued: “The robot performs the function of exam observer, and other functions and works with artificial intelligence, and is equipped with a camera that can recognize the person in front of it and greet him and also records attendance and absence through the camera. Examinations, and examination papers are distributed to students as well, and are provided with a part of the officer“It is a screen that displays the important places within the college or institute with a detailed explanation for any visitor, and in the event that there is a student who is prohibited from taking the exam inside the committee, the robot will set an alarm and issue a flash, and the robot will move through an application that is carried on the phone, and the subject professor or the observer appreciates the students. The robot moves the robot to monitor the students and communicate with them in case there is any question for them inside the committee. sensor “, to measure the temperature of the students and the result will appear on the screen.”
The students created a “Mica Robot”, to reduce the friction between the students and the observer during the exam, and to disinfect the place and thus reduce the spread of infection with the Corna virus, and this is why Ismail confirms that “Mica” can also be used in hospitals to disinfect the place.
The students were keen that the components of the “Mica Robot” be 100 percent Egyptian, and this was confirmed by Ismail, saying: “The components of the robot are 100 percent Egyptian, and we bought them ourselves, but the difficulties that we encountered are how we can carry such a picture on the camera so that you get to know the most person through his picture. He greeted him, and our professors at the institute directed us to specialists, to the extent that we solved the problem.”
It took Ismail and his colleagues four months to design the “Mica Robot”, where he said: “The project took 4 months and ran from 12 noon until dawn.”
“Mica Robot” was used in the institute’s examination committees this year, which was confirmed by Ismail, saying: “The institute used the robot to monitor this year’s students, and praise be to God, it was able to play the role of the observer, and the students were surprised at the first, but after that, they agreed with the robot, and used it in communication with the observer.
Ismail and his colleagues involved in creating a “Mica Robot” dream that their graduation project will reach as many people as possible, and make a copy of it again to benefit from it in hospitals, companies and universities. He said: “We are entering a patent competition belonging to the Ministry of Higher Education, and we hope that we We get a value center, and we dream that a scientific entity or an investor will adopt our project so that we can manufacture the largest number of it and many institutions will benefit from the “Mecha Robot”.
