In a city saturated with entertainment marketing, a massive, hand-painted mural promoting the Apple TV+ series “Severance” has emerged as a standout attraction on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles.
The artwork meticulously recreates “The Exalted Victory of Cold Harbor,” a fictional painting central to the show’s plot. This week, Apple officially highlighted the installation by sharing photographs, including a selfie from the series’ lead actor, Adam Scott, posing in front of the mural.
While Apple’s promotion is recent, social media posts from passersby documented the mural’s creation, showing a team of artists applying the finishing touches in late July. The first season of the critically acclaimed thriller is available to stream on Apple TV+, with a highly anticipated second season in development.
