An influencer has been praised online for sharing the dramatic difference simple lighting and posing changes can have on photographs in a bid to ‘normalise normal bodies’.

Former Survival Of The Fittest’s Georgie Clarke, 27, from London, posted two images taken ‘one minute apart’ on her Instagram account this weekend – one showing a ‘perfect’ social media snap and another featuring her relaxed.

Flaunting her physique in a black lingerie set in both images, the reality TV star revealed she had to find the ‘best light, the most flattering angle and tense her stomach’ for the first photo.

In the second, which she hoped showed the ‘truth and reality behind the “perfect images”‘ on social media, Georgie showcased her natural features, including cellulite.

Former Survival Of The Fittest’s Georgie Clarke, 27, from London, posted two images taken ‘one minute apart’ on her Instagram account this weekend – one showing a ‘perfect’ social media snap (pictured left) and another featuring her relaxed (pictured right). In the left image, Georgie has tensed her stomach and bum, is holding her breath, found the best lighting and angle. But in the right, she is simply relaxed

This isn't the first time the influencer, who boasts more than 652,000 followers on her Instagram, has promoted realistic body images. Pictured right, the reality TV star shows the difference when she slouches and doesn't have her trousers up high

In the second, which she hoped showed the 'truth and reality behind the "perfect images"' on social media, Georgie showcased her natural features, including cellulite

Flaunting her physique in a black lingerie set in both of the images taken this weekend, the reality TV star revealed how she had to find the ‘best light, the most flattering angle and tense her stomach’ for the first photo. Pictured, the caption on her post

She captioned the images: ‘One minute apart = both are for Instagram. On the left I am posed… On the right I am relaxed… Both images are beautiful and should be shared on this platform.

‘This comparison is to show you that someone who understands modelling will be able to create the image on the left but in reality and when relaxed is the image on the right.

‘The left image required: Find the best light, find the most flattering angle, tense bum, stand on tip toes, tense stomach, hold my breath. The right image require: Nothing, just relaxing and smiling.’

In another Instagram post, Georgie sported a stunning floral lingerie set while showing the difference between her figure when posed and relaxed. Pictured left: The influencer takes a selfie to better control the angle of her photo and sits up while leaning away from the camera. Meanwhile, pictured right, Georgie takes a picture while not controlling the camera leading to her cellulite showing

Sharing the above image, Georgie explained how she¿d achieved the 'perfect look', left. She said: 'Don¿t breathe. Use the light to find where it will create the effect of abs - usually side lighting creates this. Always tip toe [because] it really creates space between your legs while they¿re crossed and naturally makes you tense your bum.' Pictured right, the influencer in a relaxed pose

When sharing these images last month, Georgie explained: 'In the first photo, I¿m leaning lightly on my heels, sucking in everything and holding my breath and tensing my stomach to create abs. In the second photo, I am completely relaxed. Not holding anything or angled for clever lighting... just me feeling happy and relaxed'

She continued: ‘Both images are for my Instagram because I believe both images show my true self.

‘I want to be able to create beautiful images but I also want to show you the truth and reality behind the “perfect images” so here’s your reality check. Normalise normal bodies.’

Her fans were quick to praise the post, with one writing: ‘Thanks for sharing… I now feel my body is normal and beautiful too.’

Another said: ‘I developed a great acceptance of my body since I started following you! Thank you so much! You are beautiful!’

Writing on a previous post in which she showcased more ‘Instagram Vs Reality’ images, Georgie said: ‘Everybody posts their best shot, the photo they liked the best, that got their best angle and flattering lighting. And that’s okay.

Posting the above images last month, Georgie wrote: 'I know it¿s hard to not look at yourself when you¿re bloated and feel upset but remember it¿s natural for your body to do this. All women bloat, I¿ve had plenty of bikini shoots where I¿ve been as bloated as I am in the right image but used as many flattering angles as possible to hide it and achieve the image on the left'

For these images, Georgie showed a posed and relaxed look. In the left image, she uses lighting to create the illusion of muscles and has twisted her body to the best angle to create a slender physique, while in the right image, she simply stands naturally

‘However… When that’s all we see on social media, we forget that the reality still exists for everyone.
