An Australian rapper who narrowly escaped death in a drive-by shooting has been challenged to a fight by a rival rapper who claims he snitched on the shooter.
John Lavulo, 33, who raps under the moniker Big Kash, was hit in the shoulder under a hail of bullets on August 8 as he sat in his Mercedes Benz outside his Sydney unit block.
Rival rapper Ay Huncho, 23, real name Ali Younes, has posted a series of videos claiming the now healed Lavulo told police who fired the shots at him and challenging him to a $50,000 boxing match.

Younes posted what appeared to be a police statement from a senior constable stating that Lavulo had sent him a text message with the shooter’s name.
In the video, Younes, whose bikini and bling filled rap videos have gained him international attention, can be seen sparring a boxing ring as he tells Lavulo he will pay him to appear in the fight.
‘The boys will put up an event yeah, just for you to jump in the ring with me you get 10 grand – 100 per cent guaranteed,’ he said.
‘If you beat me, I swear to God on everything, I will give you 50 grand personally.’
‘You talk like you are a gangster, you are a snitch dog but let’s see if you at least have a little bit of ticker in you.’
Big Kash has denied Younes’ claims in a response post saying he has ‘never been a rat’ and was not directly replying because Younes was just trying to get ‘clout’ by issuing the challenge.
‘It is amazing what you can do with computers’ he said.
Another Sydney rapper Thomas Vandermade, 29, stage name Masi Rooc, has been charged over the drive-by shooting.

Lavulo previously told Daily Mail Australia he had never actually met Vandermade despite police saying the pair had been ‘taunting’ each other on social media.
‘I don’t really know him at all, he knew my brother – that’s how I first heard of him,’ he said.
‘He was glorifying jail to kids in his songs and I didn’t like it so I started trolling him on Instagram.’
NSW Police Detective Superintendent Robert Critchlow said the investigation was an ‘interesting’ one because of the social media feuding.
He said as part of the case against Vandermade, police would rely on evidence that indicated the shooting was a ‘targeted’ attempt at an assassination.
‘The investigations into this case have been interesting because it shows us the motives really sit around rap groups and those that see themselves as rappers,’ Det Supt Critchlow said.
‘There’s been some public taunting which has been going on for some time utilising social media and other outlets and its resulted, we will allege, in this shooting.’
Lavulo was shot in both the shoulder and forearm.

He says if his forearm had not have still been on the wheel, the bullet could have hit his girlfriend Amelia in the head as she ducked down in the seat next to him.
Despite the alleged best efforts of the shooters to block him in, Lavulo managed to escape in his car and drive himself to a nearby hospital.
He had multiple surgeries and has now recovered, while his girlfriend remained shaken after the attack.
‘We’re just slowly readjusting, she is still a bit jumpy,’ Lavulo told Daily Mail Australia in September.
