Fitness coach, 21, shares how to buy a week of healthy groceries for under $75 – without compromising on taste

A fitness coach has revealed how she buys a week’s worth of healthy groceries for less than $75 in a bid to prove eating well doesn’t need to break the bank.
Jordan, from Sydney, shared her typical shopping list in a video uploaded to TikTok.
The 21-year-old spent $72.79 at her local Woolworths on a variety of healthy – and usually costly – items, including chicken, vegetables, fruit, canned goods and low-calorie snacks.
‘This is just a reminder that you only need the basics and don’t always have to buy the expensive stuff from the health food aisle,’ Jordan said in the clip.

In a bid to demonstrate how eating healthy doesn’t have to be expensive, Jordan (pictured) shared what she included on her shopping list by posting a video on TikTok

For protein she bought a dozen free range eggs, one kilogram of chicken breast, five-star minced beef, ham and frozen chicken tenders.
As meat can send bills skyrocketing, she opted for Woolworths home brand products, which are cheaper compared to other labels.
For fruit and vegetables, she purchased fresh zucchini, onions, avocado, strawberries, capsicum and lettuce.
She suggested buying pre-packaged fruit such as peaches in juice for anyone particularly keen to keep cost to a minimum.
‘This is just a reminder that you only need the basics and don’t always have to buy the expensive stuff from the health food isle,’ Jordan said in the video
The video will act as a guide to help others avoid spending too much money each week at the supermarket
Light coconut milk, corn kernels, salsa, cheese, miniature tortillas and sandwich thins were also purchased among her weekly staples.
While she’s wanting to lose weight, Jordan also bought low calorie soft drinks including zero sugar Sunkist and Pepsi Max.
She opted for thin brown rice cakes and J.J’s as her healthy snacks.
The video serves as a guide to help others avoid spending too much money each week at the supermarket.
