According to media outlets, the international coalition, in cooperation with the “Syrian Democratic Forces”, carried out an airdrop operation in Al-Hasakah Governorate in northeastern Syria, with the aim of eliminating a high-ranking ISIS leader.
The Central Military Media, citing the Militant Coordinators, and Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper, citing military sources, confirmed today, Sunday, that the landing operation was carried out at dawn last Friday in the village of Ibb Al-Teen in the southern countryside of Hasaka, and resulted in the liquidation. The so-called ISIS leader, Sabah Al-Ibrahim, also known as “Abu Osama Al-Ibrahim,” who holds Iraqi citizenship and presides over the so-called “Badia Province” and has been active in the ranks of ISIS in Syria and Iraq since its establishment in 2014.
