‘It’s got to the stage where I get down here an hour and a half before I should, and then call up my wife and say “come on down, we need you sweeping all the glass off the road again”,’ Mr Ellis told 2GB’s Mark Levy on Monday.
‘It’s just atrocious … it’s absolutely out of control down here.’
Mr Ellis asked locals to contact police if they know who is responsible for the mess.
‘These workers are out there rain, hail or shine and should not have to … find the testing site completely destroyed in this disgraceful act of vandalism,’ he said.
Pittwater MP Robert Stokes said the incidents are being investigated.
A NSW Police spokesman said in a statement that officers are ‘conducting inquiries’.
